Venture beyond civilian boundaries into the raw, windswept high-altitude plateau of North Sikkim. This expedition connects the remote mountain outposts of Lachen and Lachung, leading to Gurudongmar Lake — one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world blessed by Guru Padmasambhava.
Transition from stark Tibetan tundra to the riot of colors in Yumthang Valley, renowned as Sikkim’s Valley of Flowers, flanked by sulfur hot springs and towering rhododendron forests under the watchful gaze of Mount Shundu Tsenpa.

Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Scenic Transfer to Gangtok
Pick up from NJP/IXB and drive along Teesta Valley to Gangtok. Evening briefing and permit verification.
Day 2: Gangtok to Lachen via Chungthang Confluence
Early morning departure north through Mangan and Singhik viewpoints. Admire Seven Sisters Waterfall and Naga Falls before reaching Lachen (8,830 ft) by evening.
Day 3: Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft) & Transfer to Lachung
Drive at 4:30 AM through Thangu Valley and Chopta Valley to Gurudongmar Lake. Marvel at the crystalline waters surrounded by snow domes. Return to Lachen for lunch and drive to Lachung valley.
Day 4: Yumthang Valley & Zero Point, Return to Gangtok
Drive through Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary to Yumthang Valley. Optional extension to Zero Point (15,300 ft). After lunch, descend back to Gangtok city.
Day 5: Gangtok to NJP / Bagdogra Departure
Check-out post breakfast with unforgettable high-altitude memories and safe drop at NJP or Bagdogra.
