Standing proudly at a dizzying elevation of 14,140 feet, Nathula Pass is one of the highest motorable mountain passes in the world and an open border trading post between India and China. Once a major offshoot of the ancient Silk Route, tea, silk, and spices were once traded here across Tibet.
